In October 2008, over £90 was raised during the Harvest Service at St Peter's Church, Wrestlingworth, through the sale of crafts and collection.  Vanilla and ginger biscuits made from tooke flour were also on sale!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

In September 2008, children from Wrestlingworth Lower School

and Dunton Lower School in Bedfordshire, raised £250

by cutting out and colouring these paper mugs and sticking coins and notes on the back.

March 2008

Our concert evening with  Clare Fox (viola) and Simon Marlow (piano) in Sutton, Bedfordshire was a sell out. 80 people enjoyed the music and a buffet supper in a wonderful setting on Saturday March 8th 2008.  The event brought in more than £1200 for the project.  The Cambridge Arts Theatre generously donated the star raffle prize, two tickets to the English Touring Opera's performance of Donizetti's Anna Bolena.

Trustee Rosalind White took part in the the 2008 ABSEIL FOR CHARITY at the Church Langley Water Tower in Harlow on , and raised over £1100.

Yvette Croucher, Charities Committee Chair at Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP, with committee members Emma Osbaldeston and Adrian Rafferty. The presentation was made to them in November 2008 by Kate Wrangham-Briggs to mark all the support they have given the Kasiisi Porridge Project over the past two years, during which they raised the truly remarkable figure of over £16,000.
